Team Leader Team Leader of Consultant is the role, a professional would move to after spending about two to four years, in the field of data analytics. This role usually involves professionals, getting to display their leadership qualities by getting their own teams. While many others choose to become subject matter experts or as they are well known as SMEs. These subject matter experts, are basically supposed to provide their companies, with new techniques and methodologies so as to improve the current processes. This role also expects a person to manage major portion of their projects, including communication with the client on behalf of the company.
Manager This is the next role, if you are following the natural path for a data analyst, while if you have shifted your tracks to become a subject matter expert, your role will differ by a tad difference. As an SME you would be expected to lead a temporary team, but as a Manager, you would have at least 30 -50 people you would be responsible for.
Associate Vice President Once you have sufficient expertise to transition in to the role of senior manager, the next role is that of the Associate Vice President. To reach this role, it is imperative for you to reflect a strong set of data analytics skills from the beginning of your career, as every growth in data analytics is entirely based on the kind of skills a professional has.
